Vehicle Fingerprint

Open this from Settings → System → Vehicle Fingerprint. The fingerprint is which car the device thinks it is installed in, and it decides which tuning and controls iQ.Pilot uses.

• The device auto-detects your car from the messages on the CAN bus. The Active line shows the fingerprint it is currently using.
• Search platforms lets you find a specific car in the supported list and set it by hand.
• Refresh re-runs auto-detection.

Selecting a platform manually overrides auto-detection until you clear it. Only do this if the device is detecting the wrong car, and pick the exact match for your model and year.

Caution

Setting the wrong fingerprint makes iQ.Pilot use the wrong car’s tuning and safety limits. Leave it on auto-detect unless you have a specific reason to change it.
